Alta Vista Gardens is just starting out and in order to make our garden grow we would very much appreciate donation of some of the following items.
Your Donations to us are Tax Deductible
Library Books: Thanks to the very generous donations of Deborah Cuesta & Stanley Miller (former owners of Blue Cactus Books), Alta Vista Gardens now has a good beginning to their Lending Library. If you have any plant or garden books that you would like to donate please feel free to contact us. Of particular interest to us are the books of A.B. Graff (a former Vista resident) such as Exotica; Tropica & Hortica. We are also interested in Plant and Garden database software such as the products by Horticopia.
Garden & Construction Equipment: We need all sorts of garden equipment from hand tools to tractors, from concrete mixers to wheelbarrows! We even need a concrete redi-mix truck, a concrete pump and a crane. Other things that we could use include Golf Carts, all terrain garden maintenance vehicles, and a Bobcat
Construction Materials: Interlocking Pavers; segmental retaining wall systems; sand , gravel, cement, concrete block, rebar, lumber, PVC irrigation piping & fittings, PVC electrical conduit & electrical wire, soil amendments, Greenhouses
Office Equipment: We need a good copy machine and a DLP projector for presentations and many other things.
